My man cave is somewhat small so it’s quite difficult to photograph without a fish-eye lens, so I sent several views. It was a labor of love though, so I hope you like it. Much of the work I did myself.
Here are some of the highlights:
• Oak trim, much of it quarter-sewn • Antique brick on walls and bar from 1880’s church • Wood burning fireplace • Tin ceiling above bar and above pool table • Antique pool table (C. 1910), with leather pockets * Antique Edison phonograph • Bar is one huge glass covered “shadow box” exhibiting family mementos & sports memorabilia • Leather bar stools • Kegerator, wine cooler, ice maker & standard size refrigerator • Four neon signs (Miller sign needs to be fixed!) • HIstoric sports memorabilia on the walls, including Mickey Mantel autograph, photos of old Municipal Stadium, photos of KC Monarchs, framed montage of 85 Royals, Dad’s letter sweater (Northeast High), many others • Framed 1956 Marilyn Monroe classic calendar photo (belonged to granddad) • Table-top humidor • Built-in oak shelving unit with 52” plasma TV, Hitachi & Polk Audio surround-sound system, Ipod with 4000+ songs, blueray player
What else does a man need?! (Don’t answer that)
