How many of us like to play our stereo a little - OK a lot - louder than our spouse likes? That’s why the basement is an ideal place for my mancave. The concrete walls keep the music from going where it is not supposed to go, but a little sound treatment keeps the music listenable. I have two shots here.. One shot picks up on most of the important aspects of the mancave: the easy chair, the music, the mini-fridge (and some of its former contents); a computer, and a tiny glimpse of the workshop around the corner. The other shows the reason my wife was happy to encourage the mancave - it allowed me to consolidate some of the stereo gear that has been saved from the dumpsters. Some people bring home stray cats. My mancave welcomes tired stereo gear.
