Boulevard Drive-in was the site of this 11th annual “kustom culture” show on Saturday and Sunday, featuring cars, trucks, and motorcycles in styles from classic to bizarre. The event included vendors and live music. plus a different cult movie shown each night.

“Wheat bending in the rain”. Kansas University is represented in this photo of the north face of the Kauffman Performing Arts building. It shows shadow, direction, and an interesting fit between the umbrella shape and the building shape with the contrast in the bright umbrella color and subdued color of the structure. I like the lines of wet and dry that seem to point down to the blue umbrella.
