Changing of the Guard- I shot this while waiting for my wife outside a the Price Chopper in Excelsior Springs. The crow in flight is being relieved of guard duty by the crow perched. Whatever is in the flying crows beak was delivered by the crow coming to take it’s place.

New born fawn tries to catch up to mama. This was May, 2010. I believe this fawn was just hours old. The first time I saw it it could barely walk. I saw it three times that day and each time it was moving much better than the time before. This is norther Clay County.
